How does FixCost estimate the price?
AI identifies the visible damage and its size in your photos. Prices come from our own cost catalog: typical labor time and materials, adjusted with local labor rates and sales tax for your ZIP code. It is an estimate, not a contractor quote.
The estimate looks wrong. What can I do?
Tap Not right? Refine under the result, pick what is off and add a note. FixCost re-checks the same photos once for free. A wider photo that shows the wall or ceiling around the damage also helps.
Is my free estimate used if no damage is found?
No. If FixCost can't see repairable damage, or the check fails because of a connection problem, your free estimate is not used.
What does FixCost Pro include?
Unlimited estimates (fair use: 5 per day), PDF reports for contractors and insurers, and share cards without a watermark. Weekly and yearly plans are available; the yearly plan may include a free trial.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone open Settings > your name > Subscriptions > FixCost, then Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I paid but Pro isn't active / I got a new iPhone
Open the paywall or Settings in FixCost and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID.
Are my photos stored?
Photos are sent securely to our server and our AI provider only to create the estimate and are not stored on our servers afterwards. Your estimate history stays on your iPhone. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
In FixCost open Settings > Delete all my data. To also remove server records tied to your install ID, email us from the app's Settings screen or at support@quotesautoinsurance.org.
Does FixCost help with insurance claims?
FixCost compares the estimate with your deductible and gives general guidance on whether a claim is likely worth it. Your policy and insurer decide coverage. You can export a PDF report to share with your insurer.
How do invite codes work?
Share your code from Settings. When a friend enters it, you both get a bonus free estimate (limits apply).
